The Exfoliating Soap has been formulated for all skin types.
It contains a blend of five different vegetable oils and butters: avocado oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, and Shea butter. It is naturally scented with pine and patchouli essential oils. Upcycled coffee grounds make it gently exfoliating.
All our soaps are handmade in Brussels, using the traditional cold process method. Find more information here. All our soaps are palm oil free.
Our Exfoliating Soap is ideal for hands and body, and can even be used on your face for a gentle scrub (not more than once a week). Its properties are numerous, let’s explore them:
- Avocado oil: antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, it helps your skin stay soft and elastic.
- Shea Butter: deeply moisturizing and anti-bacterial, it makes the soap creamy.
- Coconut oil: moisturizing and cleansing, it makes the soap bubbly.
- Olive oil: deeply skin softening.
- Sunflower seed oil: antioxidant and skin-protecting, it makes your skin feel silky.
- Coffee grounds: gently exfoliate the skin.
Please note that due to the handmade nature of this product it may vary slightly in color, size, and scent.
Ingredients: Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil), Sodium Shea Butterate (Shea Butter), Sodium Avocadate (Avocado oil), Sodium Sunflowerate (Sunflower seed oil), Pinus sylvestris oil (pine essential oil), Pogostemon cabin oil (patchouli), Coffea arabica seed powder.
How to use our soap:
Use with water to create a lather, apply to skin, and rinse.
Handmade soaps will last for a long time if they are kept dry in between uses. Please allow your soap to drain and air dry properly after use for extended life. For external use only. If irritation occurs discontinue use.

Where can I store my soap?
A soap or shampoo dish that has holes or has a drain is ideal, because it allows air to pass through and does not allow the solid product to stagnate in the water and be excessively consumed. Check out our wooden soap/shampoo holder.
If you do not have a surface in the shower on which you can place a soap/shampoo dish that allows drainage, I recommend be hung it on vertical surfaces.

I decided to buy this soap for an upcoming trip. I wanted to pack light and to be sustainable as well. I loved the soap bar, and at the end of the trip my boyfriend labeled it as an “amazing discovery”. You can feel the coffee grains, which gives a nice exfoliation.
Totally recommended, and I think it is a nice gift also for a guy!

Where to even start! This was one of Chiara’s first products and one of my all-time faves. I love how it leaves your skin clean, yet hydrated (that is something that all her soaps have in common, they are very nurturing and don’t leave your skin feeling dry like sandpaper). And it’s great to know she puts her daily coffee leftovers to good use. Espresso never felt this good!
